Warning lights
The presence and operation of the warning lights DEPEND ON THE EQUIPMENT AND THE COUNTRY.

Instrument panel A: It lights up when the ignition is switched on. You can adjust its brightness by turning wheel 1.
Some warning lights are accompanied by a message.
The warning light
requires that you have the vehicle checked by a Renault dealer as soon as possible, driving gently. Failure to follow this recommendation may cause damage to the vehicle.
Parking lights indicator
High beam indicator
Low beam indicator
Front Fog Lamp Indicator
Rear fog lamp warning lamp
The warning light
requires you, for your safety, to stop immediately, as soon as traffic conditions allow. Switch off the engine and do not restart it. Contact a Renault dealer.
Left turn indicator light
Right-hand turn indicator light
Parking brake warning light or assisted parking brake warning light
Refer to the "Handbrake" or "Power-assisted parking brake" sections in chapter 2.
The absence of visual or audible feedback indicates a fault in the instrument panel. Stop immediately, as soon as traffic conditions allow. Make sure the vehicle is properly stopped and contact a Renault dealer. The presence and operation of the warning lights DEPEND ON THE EQUIPMENT AND THE COUNTRY.

Speed limiter and cruise control warning light
See the 'Cruise control' and 'Speed limiter' sections in chapter 2.
Fuel economy assistance indicator
They light up to advise you to shift to a higher gear (up arrow) or a lower gear (down arrow).
Warning light
It lights up when the ignition is switched on, then goes out as soon as the engine runs. It may light up together with other warning lights and/or messages on the instrument panel.
It requires stopping at a brand representative as soon as possible, driving with care. Failure to follow this recommendation may cause damage to the vehicle.
Airbag warning light
It lights up when the engine starts, then goes out after a few seconds.
If it does not light up when the ignition is switched on, or if it lights up with the engine running, this indicates a system fault.
Consult a brand representative as soon as possible.
Glow plug indicator (diesel version)
Ignition on, it lights up. It indicates that the glow plugs are operating. As soon as it goes out, the engine can be started.
Anti-lock braking system (ABS) warning lamp
It lights up when the ignition is switched on, then goes out after a few seconds.
If it does not go out after switching on the ignition, or if it lights up while driving, it indicates a fault in the anti-lock braking system (ABS). The braking system then operates as on a vehicle not fitted with ABS.
Consult a Brand Representative as soon as possible.
Emission control system indicator
It lights up when the ignition is switched on, then goes out when the engine starts.
- If it stays on continuously, contact a brand representative as soon as possible;
- if it flashes, reduce engine speed until the flashing stops.
Consult a brand representative as soon as possible.
Refer to the "Anti-pollution advice, fuel economy, driving" section in chapter 2.

If it comes on when braking, together with the
and an audible beep, it indicates a drop in fluid level in the circuits or a fault in the braking system. Stop and contact a Renault dealer.
Engine coolant temperature indicator

It lights up on the central display when the engine starts. Then, if the driver's or front passenger's seat belt (when the seat is occupied) is not fastened and the vehicle reaches approximately 20 km/h, it flashes and an audible signal sounds for about 120 seconds.
Note: an object placed on the front passenger seat may in some cases trigger the warning light.
Rear seat belt unfastened warning (depending on vehicle)
