Removal and Installation PROCEDURE 1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. 2. Position the vehicle over an inspection pit or raise the rear of the vehicle. 3. Disconnect tubes 5 (see figure Fuel Pump) and 6 from battery 7. 4. Unscrew the battery mounting bolt and remove battery 7 from bracket 5. Install the battery in the reverse order. After installation, start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
