Removal and Installation PROCEDURE 1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. 2. Position the vehicle over an inspection pit or raise the rear of the vehicle. 3. Disconnect tube 5 from filter 1 (see figure Fuel Pump). 4. Disconnect fuel line 25 from the filter. 5. Install the filter in the reverse order. The filter must be installed so that the arrow on its housing points in the direction of fuel flow. Replace the O-rings before connecting the tubes. After installing the filter, start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
