Disassembly and Assembly PROCEDURE 1. Relieve the fuel line pressure (see para. 4 of subsection 3.2.6).

2. Unscrew the pressure regulator plug 10 (see figure K-Jetronic Fuel Injection System Components). Remove the plug gasket. 3. Remove the adjusting shims 11, the O-ring, the plunger and the O-ring again. Replace the O-rings. Do not replace the adjusting shims. Assemble the regulator in reverse order. Tighten the regulator plug to a torque of 25 N·m.
