PROCEDURE

The starting device control cable is adjusted in the same way on Bosch and CAV pumps. If the cable was removed, install it in the following order: PROCEDURE 1. Install washer 10 (see fig. Bosch Fuel Pump Control Linkage) onto cable 11. 2. Pass the cable through the rubber bushing in the bracket and install retaining washer 9. 3. Pass the end of the cable through the hole of lever pin 8. 4. Press the lever fully in the direction of the arrow. 5. Pull the cable taut and secure it by tightening bolt 7.
