Draining Water from the Fuel Filter

PROCEDURE

Water must be drained from the fuel filter every 7500 km. PROCEDURE

1. Unscrew the bolt (shown by the arrow) several turns to bleed air from the filter.

2. Unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the filter (shown by the arrow) and drain approximately 100 cm3 of fluid. 3. Install the plug and bolt. 4. Check for leaks by starting the engine and letting it run at idle. After the fuel supply increases, fuel should flow through the transparent hose without air bubbles.
