Dynamic guidance to destination

When dynamic route guidance is active, all current traffic information received by the infotainment system based on TMC traffic data is taken into account for route calculation.
The route is calculated taking into account all traffic disruptions or restrictions according to the previously configured criteria.
If traffic problems occur on the route (for example, traffic jams or closed roads), a text and voice message will be displayed indicating the type of problem. The driver can decide to bypass the obstacle by selecting the suggested route change, or to continue in the direction of the obstacle.
Traffic disruption messages are also issued when Guidance to destination mode is switched off.
When Guidance to destination mode is switched on, the system constantly checks traffic information and determines whether a new calculation or selection of an alternative route is required based on the current road conditions.
When Dynamic route guidance mode is switched on, you can choose between automatic recalculation of the road section or recalculation after confirming the request for a new calculation.
Dynamic route guidance can be switched on or off, and the route calculation criteria and additional navigation settings are configured in the Navigation options menu.
To do so, press the NAV button, then select Navigation options, Route criteria, Dynamic guidance.
Dynamic route guidance only works when the system receives traffic information through the RDS-TMC traffic information service.
The possible delay caused by traffic disruptions is calculated by the infotainment system based on data the system receives from the RDS-TMC radio stations currently tuned. The actual delay may differ from the calculated delay.
