Warning lights
Shown as symbols, the warning lamps inform you of a fault (warning lamps) or of the operating status of a system (operating or deactivation lamps). Some lamps have two types of illumination (steady or flashing) and/or several colours.
Related warnings
A warning lamp coming on may be accompanied by an audible signal and/or a message shown on a display.
Relating the warnings to the vehicle's operating status helps you tell whether the situation is normal or whether a fault has occurred: see the description of each warning lamp for more information.
When switching on the ignition
Some warning lamps, red or orange, come on for a few seconds.
These lamps must go out as soon as the engine starts.
For more information on a piece of equipment or a function, refer to the corresponding section.
Persistent warning lamp
A warning lamp (red or orange) coming on may indicate a fault that requires further diagnosis.
