General safety recommendations

Do not remove the labels affixed at various points on the vehicle. They contain safety warnings and vehicle identification information.

For any work on the vehicle, contact a qualified workshop with the technical information, skills and suitable equipment, which the CITROËN Network is able to provide.

Depending on the legislation in force in your country, certain safety equipment may be mandatory: high-visibility safety vests, warning triangles, breath alcohol testers, spare bulbs, spare fuses, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, rear mud flaps...

Installing electrical accessories:

- Fitting electrical equipment or accessories not approved by CITROËN may cause excessive power consumption and failure of the vehicle's electrical systems. Visit the CITROËN Network to see the range of approved accessories.

- For safety reasons, access to the diagnostic socket, which is linked to the vehicle's on-board electronic systems, is strictly reserved for the CITROËN Network or a qualified workshop with suitable tools (risk of malfunction of the on-board electronic systems, which could cause breakdowns or serious accidents). The Manufacturer cannot be held liable if this instruction is not followed.

- Any modification or adaptation not provided for or authorised by CITROËN, or carried out without following the technical requirements defined by the Manufacturer, will result in suspension of the commercial warranty.

Installing radio transmitter accessories

Before installing a radio transmitter with an external antenna, you must consult the CITROËN Network to find out the characteristics of the transmitters (frequency band, maximum output power, antenna position, specific installation conditions) that may be fitted, in accordance with the Automotive Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (2004/104/EC).
