A single trip to the service center can easily exceed the price of your Ford Protect extended service plan. With Ford Protect extended service plan, you minimize the risk of unexpected repair bills and rising repair costs.

Up to 1000+ covered vehicle components

There are four mechanical Ford Protect extended service plans with different levels of coverage. Contact an authorized dealer for details.

  1. PremiumCARE is our most comprehensive coverage. With more than 1000 covered components, this plan is so complete that it is probably easier to list what is not covered.
  2. ExtraCARE - Covers 113 components and includes many high-tech items.
  3. BaseCARE - Covers 84 components.
  4. PowertrainCARE - Covers 29 key components.

Ford Protect Extended Service Plans are available at all authorized Ford dealers in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Rental Vehicle Reimbursement

First Day Rental Benefit: If you bring your vehicle to a dealer for service, we will provide you with a rental vehicle to use during the day. Extended Rental Benefits: If your vehicle is kept overnight for repair, you are entitled to a rental vehicle for service, warranty repair and on-site service actions.

Roadside Assistance

Exclusive 24-hour roadside assistance, 7 days a week, including:

  • Towing, flat tire change and battery jump start.
  • Out of fuel and lockout assistance.
  • Trip interruption reimbursement for lodging, meals and rental car.
  • Taxi, transfer, rental car coverage or other transportation assistance.

Transferable Coverage

If you sell your vehicle before the Ford Protect extended service plan expires, you may transfer any remaining coverage to the new owner. This gives you and your prospective buyer peace of mind.

Lower Costs for Proper Vehicle Maintenance

The Ford Protect extended service plan also offers a Premium maintenance plan that covers all scheduled maintenance and selected wear items. Coverage is prepaid, so you never have to worry about the cost of maintaining your vehicle.

The Ford Protect Extended Service Plan is the only service contract backed by Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited. Depending on the plan you purchase, the Ford Protect Extended Service Plan provides benefits such as:

  • Coverage for certain maintenance items and wear items.
  • Protection against repair costs after the New Vehicle Limited Warranty coverage expires.
  • Roadside assistance benefits.

Several versions of the Ford Protect Extended Service Plan are available with different terms, mileage and deductible combinations.
