What is a Power Point

The power point can power devices that use a 12V power adapter.

Power Point Precautions

When the vehicle is on, you can use the power point to power 12V accessories with a maximum rating of 15 A. Do not use the power point over 180 W DC 12V or a fuse may blow. Do not connect devices that draw power from the vehicle through power strips. This may cause damage to vehicle systems. Do not hang any accessories from the power point. Always keep the power point covers closed when not in use. Do not insert objects other than an approved plug into the power point.

To prevent battery discharge:

  • Do not use the power point longer than necessary when the vehicle is off.
  • Do not leave devices plugged in overnight or when you park your vehicle for extended periods.

Power Point Location

Power points may be located in the following places:

  • On the lower instrument panel.
  • Inside the center console.
  • On the front of the center console.
  • On the rear of the center console.
  • In the cargo area.
  • On the passenger side floor panel.
  • On the 3rd row quarter trim panels.
