What is an Automatic-Dimming Interior Mirror

The mirror darkens to reduce the effect of bright light from behind. It returns to normal when bright light from behind is no longer present or when you shift into reverse (R).

Automatic-Dimming Interior Mirror Limitations

Do not block the sensors on the front and back of the mirror.
