Clutch Hydraulic Operation

Line pressure is supplied to the Clutch A control valve and the Clutch A lock-up valve. As the solenoid is energized, it moves the control valve, allowing regulated line pressure to flow to the Clutch A latch valve and then to Mechanical Clutch A. When the regulated line pressure in the Clutch A control circuit reaches approximately 698 kPa (100 psi), Mechanical Clutch A is fully applied. The pressure in the Clutch A control circuit moves the Clutch A lock-up valve to the left, which allows line pressure to hold Mechanical Clutch A applied.
