Warranty repairs must be performed by an authorized dealer. Although any authorized dealer working on your vehicle will perform warranty service, we recommend returning to the selling dealer, who wants to ensure your continued satisfaction.

Note that some warranty repairs require special training and equipment, so not all authorized dealers are qualified to perform all warranty repairs. This means that depending on the warranty repair required, you may need to take your vehicle to another authorized dealer.

A reasonable amount of time must be allowed to complete the repair after your vehicle is delivered to an authorized dealer. Repairs will be made using Ford or Motorcraft® parts, or remanufactured or other parts approved by Ford.

In some U.S. states, you must notify Ford directly in writing before pursuing remedies under your state's warranty laws. Ford is also entitled to a final repair attempt.

In addition, in some states within the U.S., the consumer may have the option to submit a warranty dispute to BBB AUTO LINE before taking action under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act or, to the extent permitted by state law, before seeking replacement or refund remedies provided by certain state laws. This dispute resolution procedure is not required before enforcing a state lemon law or other rights that are independent of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act or state replacement or refund laws.
