Headlight Beam Levelling Device

For vehicles equipped with halogen low and high beam headlights

Your vehicle is equipped with a headlight beam levelling device, which allows you to adjust the low beam headlights depending on the number of passengers in the vehicle and the load in the luggage compartment.

Turn the ignition key to the ON (II) position. Turn the headlight beam levelling switch to the position that most closely corresponds to the actual vehicle load.

0: Driver only or driver and front seat passenger.

1: Five people in the vehicle.

2: Five people in the front and rear seats, and cargo in the luggage compartment within the limits of the maximum permitted axle loads and the maximum permitted vehicle weight.

3: One driver and cargo in the luggage compartment. The vehicle weight and the front and rear axle loads do not exceed the permitted values.

For vehicles with high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights

Your vehicle is equipped with an automatic headlight beam levelling system, which adjusts the vertical aim of the low beam headlights depending on the number of passengers in the vehicle and the load in the luggage compartment.
