Sunshades

Both the front and rear sunshades can be opened. The front sunshade slides rearward and is stored in the center holder. At the same time, the rear sunshade slides forward and is stored in the same holder. The sunshades are operated by the switch located on the headliner. To open or close the sunshades, the ignition key must be in the ON (II) position.

To open the sunshades, press the switch rearward and hold it. To close them, press the switch forward and hold it. Release the switch when the sunshades reach the desired position. Also release the switch if you need to stop the sunshade movement.

The front and rear sunshades open and close at the same time.

The sunshade can trap and seriously injure a hand or fingers.

Before closing the sunshade, make sure there is no risk of pinching the hands or fingers of any passenger.

WARNING: When leaving the vehicle with children or adult passengers remaining inside, always remove the ignition key and take it with you.

AUTOMATIC MODE – To fully open the sunshades, press the switch rearward and release it. The sunshades will open fully. If the sunshades do not open fully, briefly press the switch while they are moving.

To fully close the sunshades, press the switch forward firmly and release it. The sunshades will close fully automatically. If the sunshades do not close fully, briefly press the switch while they are moving.

To partially open or close the sunshades, lightly press the switch forward or rearward and hold it in this position. You can stop the sunshade at the desired position by releasing the switch.

PINCH PROTECTION FUNCTION – If an obstacle is detected in the path of the sunshades in automatic mode, the sunshades will stop. To close the sunshades, remove the obstacle, then press the switch again.

The pinch protection function may not operate if the sunshades are almost fully closed. Therefore, always make sure all passengers are in a safe position before closing the sunshades.

The sunshade drive has a power delay function. You can open and close the sunshades within 10 minutes after the ignition is turned off. This function is cancelled if any front door is opened.
