To apply the parking brake, pull the lever fully up. To release the parking brake, lift the lever slightly, press the release button located on the end of the lever, and then lower the lever. When the parking brake is fully released, the indicator on the instrument panel should go out.

Driving with the parking brake applied will cause damage to the brake components and rear wheel hub bearings. If you attempt to drive with the parking brake not fully released, a warning tone will sound.

In addition, the following symbol appears on the multi-information display:сообщением «RELEASE PARKING BRAKE» (Выключите стояночный тормоз)., which may be accompanied by the warning message "RELEASE PARKING BRAKE".
