LOCKING – Press the LOCK button on the remote transmitter to lock all doors, including the liftgate, at the same time. When the LOCK button is pressed, the turn signal indicators and the turn signal indicators on the instrument panel flash three times, confirming that the doors are locked and the security alarm system is activated (on certain vehicle versions). If at least one door, including the liftgate, is not fully closed, or the key is left in the ignition switch, the doors cannot be locked using the remote transmitter.

Except for vehicles supplied to South Africa. UNLOCKING – Press the UNLOCK button on the remote transmitter to unlock all doors, including the liftgate, at the same time. When the UNLOCK button is pressed once, all turn signal indicators and the turn signal indicators on the instrument panel flash once.

For vehicles supplied to South Africa. UNLOCKING – Press the UNLOCK button once to unlock the driver's door. Pressing this button again unlocks all other doors, including the liftgate. When the button is pressed the first time, all turn signal indicators and both turn signal indicator lamps on the instrument panel flash once.

When the door locks are unlocked using the remote transmitter, the front dome light (if the dome light switch is in the DOOR position) and the rear dome light (if the dome light switch is in the middle position) turn on automatically. If none of the doors, including the liftgate, is opened within 30 seconds, the dome lights turn off. If you lock the door locks again with the remote transmitter before 30 seconds have passed, the dome lights turn off immediately. If you do not open any door within 30 seconds, all doors will automatically lock, and the security alarm system (on certain vehicle versions) will arm the vehicle.

If the key is in the ignition switch, unlocking the doors with the remote transmitter is not possible.

Additional Door Lock Function (for certain vehicle versions)

The additional door lock function can be activated using the remote transmitter. To activate the additional door lock, press the LOCK button on the remote transmitter twice within 5 seconds.

Super Lock will not activate if any door, including the liftgate, is not fully closed.

However, it activates even when the hood is open or the door windows are lowered.

To deactivate the additional door lock, press the UNLOCK button on the remote transmitter or unlock the driver's door with the key.

If occupants remain in the vehicle after Super Lock is activated, they will not be able to open the doors from the inside.

Before activating Super Lock, make sure there are no passengers in the vehicle.
