PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the connector from the oxygen sensor.
2. Separate the inlet exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter or exhaust manifold.
3. Remove the front exhaust pipe clamp bolt and the center muffler mounting nut.

Inspection

PROCEDURE

1. Check the mufflers and pipes for corrosion and damage.
2. Check the rubber hangers for deterioration and cracks.

Installation

PROCEDURE

1. Temporarily install the catalytic converter, inlet exhaust pipe, center muffler and rear muffler assembly.

2. Securely tighten all exhaust system connections. Move the exhaust system from side to side and make sure it does not contact the vehicle body. If it does, replace the exhaust system rubber hangers.
