1. Any press-fit valve seat worn to the limit must be replaced at room temperature by cutting out the wall, as shown in illustration A.
2. After removing the old valve seat, bore the seat recess to the oversize valve seat dimension.
3. Heat the cylinder head to 250 °C and press in the new oversize valve seat. The valve seat must be at room temperature when pressed in. After installing the new valve seat, lap the valve.
