PROCEDURE

1. Check that the shift select cable moves freely inside the cable sheath and that it is not damaged.
2. Check that the shift cable moves freely inside the cable sheath and that it is not damaged.
3. Check the protective boot for damage.
4. Check all bushings for wear, abrasion, seizing, restricted movement, and damage.
5. Check the springs for damage and loss of tension.
