Removal

  1. Release the residual pressure in the fuel line. (Refer to Fuel System - "Fuel Line Residual Pressure Release")
    • A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) may be set when the fuel pump relay is removed. Clear the DTC with GDS after performing "Relieve Residual Fuel Pressure".
  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  3. Remove the fuel pump. (Refer to Fuel System - "Fuel Pump")
  4. Disconnect the fuel level sensor connector (A).
  5. Remove the fuel level sensor (A) by releasing the locking hook.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
