Trailer brakes

If the trailer is equipped with a braking system, make sure it complies with the regulations of your country and is correctly installed and working properly.

If the trailer weighs more than the maximum weight without the trailer brakes being applied, it requires adequate trailer brakes of its own.

Read and follow the trailer brake instructions for correct installation, adjustment and maintenance.

Do not modify the vehicle's brake system.

WARNING Do not use a trailer with its own brakes unless you are absolutely sure the brake system has been correctly configured. This is not a job for amateurs. Rely on experienced and competent personnel for this work.
