Low-Profile Tire
Low-profile tires, with an aspect ratio of less than 50, give the vehicle a sporty appearance.
These tires are optimized for handling and braking and may therefore reduce ride comfort and produce more noise than conventional tires.
NOTICE
Because the sidewall of a low-profile tire is shorter than that of a conventional tire, these tires and the wheels fitted with this type of tire are more fragile. We therefore advise you to follow the advice below.
- On rough roads and trails, drive carefully to avoid damaging the tires or wheels. Then inspect the condition of the wheel and tire.
- When driving over a pothole, speed bump, manhole cover, or curb, proceed slowly to avoid damaging the tires or wheels.
- If a tire is damaged, inspect it or have it inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
- To avoid damage, check the tire condition and pressure every 3,000 km.
NOTICE
- Tire damage is not always easy to detect. If you have any doubt about the condition of the tires, even if no visible damage is seen, inspect or replace the tire to prevent air leakage.
- Any tire damage resulting from driving on rough roads, trails, potholes, manhole covers, or curbs is not covered by the warranty.
- Tire information is shown on the tire sidewall. See the illustration.
