Daytime Running Light (DRL), Headlight Levelling Device
Daytime Running Light (DRL)
Daytime Running Lights (DRL) can help make your vehicle more visible to others from the front during the day, especially after dawn and before sunset.
The DRL system will turn the dedicated light OFF when:
1. The headlights or front fog lights are in the ON position.
2. The parking light switch is in the ON position.
3. The engine is off.
Headlamp Leveling Device
Manual Type

To adjust the headlight aim level for the number of passengers and the cargo load in the luggage compartment, turn the levelling switch.
The higher the number on the switch position, the lower the headlight beam level. Always keep the headlight beam at the correct level position, otherwise the headlights may dazzle other road users.
Listed below are examples of appropriate switch position settings for various loads. For load conditions other than those listed, adjust the switch position to the most similar situation.

Automatic type
It automatically adjusts the headlight beam level according to the number of passengers and the load weight in the luggage compartment.
It also adjusts to the appropriate headlight level for various situations.
WARNING
If the function does not operate properly, we recommend that the system be inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer. Do not attempt to inspect or replace the wiring yourself.
