Tire Rotation
To equalize tread wear, HYUNDAI recommends rotating the tires every 12,000 km (7,500 miles) or sooner if wear is uneven. When rotating, check the tires for proper balance.
When rotating tires, check them for uneven wear and damage. Abnormal wear is usually caused by incorrect tire pressure, incorrect wheel alignment, wheel imbalance, hard braking, or sharp cornering. Look for bumps or bulges on the tread or sidewall. Replace the tire if you find any of these conditions. Replace the tire if the cord or fabric is visible. After rotation, be sure to adjust the front and rear tire pressures to specification and check the wheel nut tightening torque (correct torque 11–13 kgf·m [79–94 lbf·ft]).

Check disc brake pads for wear every time the tires are rotated.
Information
The outside and inside of a directional tire are distinguishable. When installing a directional tire, always install the side marked "OUTSIDE" facing outward. If the side marked "INSIDE" is installed facing outward, vehicle handling will be adversely affected.
WARNING
- Do not use the compact spare tire for tire rotation.
- Never mix bias-ply and radial tires. This may cause unusual handling characteristics, which may result in loss of vehicle control and an accident.
