Changing the LKA System Function

~1min read

The driver can change LKA to Lane Departure Warning on the LCD display. Go to User Settings → Driver Assistance → Lane Safety → Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) / Lane Departure Warning (LDW) / Off.

The system is automatically set to Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) if no function is selected.

- Lane Keeping Assist

The lane keeping assist guides the driver to help keep the vehicle within the lanes. It rarely controls the steering wheel when the vehicle is driving well within the lanes. However, it starts controlling the steering wheel when the vehicle is about to leave the lane.

- Lane Departure Warning

Lane Departure Warning alerts the driver with a visual warning and warning sound when the system detects the vehicle leaving the lane. The steering wheel will not be controlled.

- Off

If you select "Off", the LKA system will be deactivated.
