Aluminum or chrome wheels are coated with a clear protective film.

WARNING

  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, polishes, solvents, or a wire brush on this type of wheel.
  • Wait until the wheels have cooled before washing them.
  • Use only mild soap or neutral detergent and rinse with plenty of water. Also remember to clean the wheels after driving on salted roads.
  • Avoid cleaning the wheel rims with high-speed rotating brushes at car wash stations.
  • Do not use cleaning agents containing acidic or alkaline cleaners.
