The USB charger is used to charge the batteries of small electronic devices using a USB cable.

Electronic devices can be charged when the ignition switch is in the ACC or ON (or START) position.

The charging status of the battery may be monitored on the electronic device. Disconnect the USB cable from the USB port after use.

  • The smartphone or tablet PC may become warm during charging. This does not indicate a malfunction of the charging system.
  • A smartphone or tablet PC that accepts another charging method may not be charged properly. In this case, use the exclusive charger for your device.
  • The USB charging terminal is intended for charging devices only. Do not use the charging terminal to play audio or media in the infotainment system.
