Molded Side Panel

Commercially available lumber can be added to the pickup bed to allow the user to customize it.

2x6 Bed Cross Support Shelf

Cut two pieces of standard 2 x 6 inch lumber to approximately 52 inches in length and insert them into the molded features provided on the side panels.

A 4x4 inch sheet of plywood can be placed on top of the 2x6 supports to form a shelf inside the pickup bed.

Steps to place the tailgate in the plywood position:

1. Disconnect the left and right support cables.

2. Lift the tailgate up 20 degrees from the fully open position.

3. Reconnect both cables slightly lower.

WARNING

• Securely close the tonneau cover before driving.
• Cargo must not interfere with the tonneau cover latch and must allow the cover to fully close.
• When the tonneau cover is fully open, make sure the strap is secure by pulling on the storage strap.
• Be careful not to get your hands caught between the tailgate and the bed when opening and closing the tailgate, or between the panels when folding.
• Make sure all latches are securely engaged by pulling up on them.
• Do not stand or sit on the tonneau cover.
• Do not install the tonneau cover backwards or in any orientation other than specified.

WARNING

• Allowing passengers to ride in the truck bed or on the tailgate may result in death or serious injury in a crash. Make sure all passengers ride in a seat and wear their seat belts properly.
• Never allow passengers to ride in the cargo area of the pickup truck, in the trunk, or on the bed rails. This may cause very serious injury or death. No one should ride in any position in your vehicle that is not equipped with a seat and seat belts.
• Exceeding the load limit or improperly loading cargo on the vehicle may cause a malfunction, which may result in serious injury or death.
• Securely load cargo before driving.
