Daytime running lights help other drivers see your vehicle from the front during the day, especially after sunrise and before sunset. The DRL system illuminates when the headlight switch is in the OFF or AUTO headlight position and the electronic parking brake is released.

It turns off when:

  • Headlamps on.
  • Parking brake is applied.
  • The vehicle is turned off.

AUTO light

The headlights and parking lights turn on or off automatically depending on the amount of daylight, as measured by the ambient light sensor.
