Side Mirrors

Your vehicle is equipped with both left-hand and right-hand outside rearview mirrors. The mirrors can be adjusted remotely with the mirror adjustment switch. Adjust the outside mirrors to the desired position before starting to drive.
The outside mirrors can be folded manually to prevent damage when passing through an automatic car wash or driving on a narrow street.
WARNING
The passenger-side outside mirror is convex. Objects seen in the mirror appear closer than they actually are.
Use the rearview mirror or turn your head and look to determine the actual distance to other vehicles before changing lanes.
WARNING
Do not adjust or fold the outside mirrors while driving. This may result in loss of vehicle control and cause a collision.
NOTICE
- Do not scrape ice off the mirror surface. This may damage the glass surface.
- If the mirror is frozen, do not force the mirror to adjust. Use an approved de-icer spray (not radiator antifreeze), or a sponge or soft cloth with very warm water, or move the vehicle to a warm place and allow the ice to melt.
- Do not clean the mirror with abrasive materials, gasoline, or other petroleum-based cleaning agents.
