Air Conditioner Performance and Maintenance at Your HYUNDAI Dealer

If the refrigerant quantity is too low or the air flow is too high, the cooling performance will decrease. Have the system inspected by an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

NOTICE

  • The refrigerant system must be serviced only by trained and certified technicians in a well-ventilated area to ensure proper and safe operation.
  • Never repair the air conditioning evaporator (cooling coil) or replace it with one removed from a used or salvaged vehicle. A new replacement evaporator must be certified (and marked) as conforming to SAE J2842.

WARNING

To prevent serious injury, the air conditioning system must be serviced only by trained and certified technicians. R-1234yf is flammable and operates at high pressure.

Recover all refrigerants using proper equipment. Venting refrigerants directly into the atmosphere is harmful to people and the environment.
