Parking brake is applied automatically

When the EPB is applied while Auto Hold is active, a warning sounds and a message appears.

Press the brake pedal to disable AUTO HOLD

If you do not depress the brake pedal when canceling Auto Hold by pressing the AUTO HOLD switch, a warning sounds and a message appears.

AUTO HOLD conditions not met. Close the door and hood.

When you press the AUTO HOLD switch, if the driver's door and hood are not closed, a warning sounds and a message appears on the instrument cluster display.

AUTO HOLD will be turned off! Press the brake pedal.

If the transition from Auto Hold to EPB does not operate properly, a warning sounds and a message appears.
