Manual Transmission - If Equipped

Apply the parking brake, place the gear selector in NEUTRAL, and depress the clutch pedal before starting the vehicle. This vehicle is equipped with a clutch start interlock system. The engine will not start unless the clutch pedal is fully depressed.

4WD models only

In 4WD Low, if the vehicle stalls, the engine will restart regardless of whether the clutch pedal is fully depressed. This feature enhances off-road capability by allowing the vehicle to be started in 4WD Low without depressing the clutch pedal. The 4WD Low indicator illuminates when the transfer case has been shifted into this mode.
