  1. Press the Stop/Start switch (located on the switch bank). The indicator light will illuminate.

  2. The message STOP/START OFF will appear in the instrument cluster.
  3. At the next vehicle stop (after being turned off by the Stop/Start system), the engine will not stop.
  4. If the Stop/Start system has been manually turned off, the engine can only be stopped by turning the ignition key.
  5. The Stop/Start system will return to the ON state each time the ignition is turned off and back on.
