When the ENGINE START/STOP button is turned on, the indicator light illuminates, then turns off if the ESC system is operating normally.

The ESC indicator light flashes whenever ESC is operating, or illuminates when ESC is not operating.

The ESC OFF indicator illuminates when ESC is turned off using the button.

CAUTION

Driving with different tire types or wheel sizes may cause the ESC system to malfunction. When replacing tires, make sure they are the same size as the original tires.

WARNING: Electronic Stability Control

Drive carefully even if your vehicle has Electronic Stability Control. It can only help you maintain control under certain circumstances.
