✽ NOTICE
On a steep slope or when towing a trailer, if the vehicle does not remain stationary, perform the following:
1. Apply the EPB.
2. Pull up the EPB switch for more than 3 seconds.
CAUTION
Do not operate the parking brake/EPB while the vehicle is moving, except in an emergency.
✽ NOTICE
A clicking sound or an electric brake motor whirring sound may be heard when the EPB is applied or released. These conditions are normal and indicate that the EPB is operating properly.
