When EPB is applied from Auto Hold, a warning sounds and a message appears.

AUTO HOLD OFF! Depress brake pedal

When the transition from Auto Hold to EPB does not operate properly, a warning sounds and a message appears.

When this message is displayed, Auto Hold and EPB may not operate. For safety, depress the brake pedal.

Press the brake pedal to cancel AUTO HOLD

If the brake pedal is not depressed when you cancel Auto Hold by pressing the [AUTO HOLD] switch, a warning will sound and the message will appear.

AUTO HOLD conditions not met. Close door, hood and trunk

If the [AUTO HOLD] switch is pressed while the driver's door, engine hood or trunk is not closed, a warning will sound and a message will appear on the LCD display. At this time, press the [AUTO HOLD] switch after closing the driver's door, engine hood and trunk.
