The ISG system will operate under the following conditions:

- The driver's seat belt is fastened.
- The driver's door and hood are closed.
- The brake vacuum pressure is adequate.
- The battery is sufficiently charged.
- The outside air temperature is between 14°F and 95°F (-10°C and 35°C).
- The engine coolant temperature is not too low.

✽ NOTICE

  • If the ISG system does not meet the operating conditions, the ISG system is deactivated. The ISG OFF button indicator will illuminate and a message will appear. The LCD display will show the message "Auto Stop conditions not met."
  • If the indicator or message remains on, have the system checked.
