Description and Operation

Description

  1. The ESP OFF switch is used by the driver to disable the ESP system.

  2. The ESC OFF indicator illuminates when the ESC OFF switch is activated.

Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.

  2. Using a puller, remove the upper console cover (A).

  3. Disconnect the connector (A) from the upper console assembly.

  4. Disconnect the connector (A) from the overhead console.

  5. Loosen the screw and fully remove the floor console switch (A).

  6. Remove the cup holder (A).

  7. Loosen the screw and remove the ESP switch (A).

  8. Disconnect the ESP connector (A) from the overhead console.

  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
