Repair Procedures

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the oil level gauge (A).

  2. Remove the front engine under cover and the left side cover.

    (See Engine and Transaxle Assembly - Under Hood)

  3. Remove the nut of the left engine mount bracket (A).

    Tightening torque: 63.7–83 N·m

  4. Remove the generator.

    (See Engine Electrical System - "Alternator")

  5. Place a jack against the edge of the upper oil pan to support the engine.

  6. Remove the left engine mount bracket (A).

    Tightening Torque: 49.0–64 N·m

  7. Remove the oil level gauge tube (A).

    Tightening Torque: 9.8–11.8 N·m

  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
