The crankcase ventilation system prevents harmful gases from escaping from the crankcase into the atmosphere.

The system supplies fresh filtered air to the crankcase through the intake hose. The fresh air mixes with the crankcase vapors in the crankcase. The mixture is then fed through a valve into the intake tract.
