Engine Coolant

The high-pressure cooling system has a reservoir filled with universal antifreeze engine coolant, which can be used all year round. The reservoir is filled at the factory.

Check the antifreeze protection and coolant level at least once a year, preferably before winter begins and before driving in colder regions.

WARNING

• If the engine overheats due to insufficient coolant, the engine may be damaged when coolant is suddenly added. To avoid damage, add engine coolant slowly and in small amounts.
• Do not drive without engine coolant. Otherwise the water pump may fail and the engine may seize.
