Emission Control
Your vehicle's emission control system is covered by a limited warranty. Please refer to the separate emissions warranty information and the maintenance booklet provided with your vehicle at delivery. Your vehicle is equipped with an emission control system to meet all applicable emission standards.
The emission control system consists of the following three subsystems:
1. Crankcase Ventilation System
2. Evaporative Emission Control System
3. Exhaust Emission Control System
To ensure proper operation of the exhaust emission control systems, you must operate your vehicle in accordance with the maintenance schedule in this manual, and have it inspected and serviced by a qualified workshop as required. Kia recommends visiting a Kia dealer/service partner.
