ISG (Idle Stop and Go)
In this manual: Driving Tips
~1min read
Your vehicle may be equipped with the ISG system, which reduces fuel consumption by automatically stopping the engine when the vehicle is stationary, for example at a red light, at stop signs and in traffic jams.
The engine restarts automatically once the restart conditions are met. The ISG system is always active while the engine is running.
NOTICE
When the engine is restarted automatically by the ISG system, some warning lights (ABS, ESC, ESC OFF, EPS or parking brake) may illuminate for a few seconds.
This is the result of too low battery voltage. It does not indicate any system malfunction.
