Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) System

~1min read

The BCW (Blind-Spot Collision Warning) system warns the driver while driving using a radar sensor. The sensor detects the area beside and behind the vehicle and provides the driver with corresponding information.

1. Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) The warning zone depends on vehicle speed. If the speed of your vehicle is at least 10 km/h higher than that of adjacent vehicles, the warning does not operate.

3. Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW) When your vehicle is in reverse, the sensor detects vehicles approaching from the left or right behind your vehicle and issues a warning.

WARNING

  • Always check road conditions when driving, as situations may occur even when the Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) is active.
