Driving Tips
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)
In this manual: Driving Tips
~1min read
The FCA system is designed to reduce or eliminate the risk of accidents. The distance to a vehicle ahead or to pedestrians is detected by sensors (such as radar and camera). If there is a risk of collision, the driver is alerted by a warning message or warning sound.
WARNING
Observe the following precautions for the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) system:
- The Parking Assist System is only an auxiliary system and by no means relieves the driver of responsibility. Exercise special caution and pay attention. The detection range of the sensors is limited, and the objects the sensors can detect are limited. Always pay attention to road conditions.
- Never drive faster than road conditions or curves allow.
- Drive with anticipation, as unexpected or sudden situations may occur. The FCA system does not stop the vehicle and cannot prevent all collisions.
