Cruise control
The cruise control system allows you to set a driving speed which the vehicle maintains without operating the accelerator pedal.
The system is designed to operate at speeds above 30 km/h.
WARNING
- If the cruise control system remains on (cruise control indicator illuminated), speed control may engage unexpectedly. Therefore, turn off the cruise control system when it is not needed (cruise control indicator off) to avoid unintentional speed setting.
- Verwenden Sie das Tempomat- System nur auf Autobahnen mit geringem Verkehrsaufkommen und bei gutem Wetter.\
- Do not use cruise control when maintaining a constant speed may lead to hazardous situations, e.g. in heavy or constantly changing traffic, on slippery road surfaces (wet, icy or snow-covered), on winding roads, and on roads with grades steeper than 6 %.
- When cruise control is on, pay close attention to driving conditions.
WARNING
Do not shift to Neutral without depressing the clutch pedal on vehicles with a manual transmission while cruise control is ON, as the engine speed may increase uncontrollably. If this occurs, depress the clutch pedal or press the cruise control ON/OFF switch to turn off the cruise control system.
WARNING
If the SET button is pressed again after the vehicle has decelerated with cruise control ON, cruise control resumes after approximately 3 seconds. The deceleration is normal.
WARNING
To activate cruise control, press the brake pedal once after turning the ignition switch to ON or starting the engine. This checks that the brake switch, which is an important component for canceling cruise control, functions normally.
