repair procedures

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

  1. Remove the front propeller shaft.

    (Refer to Drive Shaft - "Front Propeller Shaft")

  2. Remove the TJ joint.

    (Refer to Drive Shaft - "TJ Joint")

  3. Remove the dynamic damper.

    (Refer to Drive Shaft - "Dynamic Damper")

  4. Remove the BJ boot bands (A) using pliers or a flat-head screwdriver (-).

  5. Remove the BJ boot.

  6. Installation is the reverse of removal.

  7. Inspect the front wheel alignment.

    (Refer to Suspension - "Wheel Alignment")
